Sorry for the technical difficulties...

I'd like to once again apologize for what Yahoo!
seems to have done with my attempted posts. I really
didn't mean to write that abrupt-sounding a message the
first time, or post twice without signing my
name.

While I wanted to word the first message a little less
bluntly, and I perhaps shouldn't have suggested that Shaun
meant to insult Princeton B specifically, I think it's
reasonable for me to take issue with his argument. Pitt was
definitely going to be invited to the ICT, whatever
technique NAQT used, and they threw off the statistics
after Matt's change of division. Using Pitt's W/L
record as part of an argument about whether Maryland (or
GW) should have been invited instead of, say,
Princeton B isn't really fair.

I understand why
Shaun is annoyed about the system NAQT used to select
teams for the ICT, given what happened to Maryland, but
our record at the ICT doesn't prove the point he's
trying to use it to prove. We did reasonably well,
though I would have liked to have done
better.

(If the board screws up this post
too, I'm just going to give up...)
