NAQT/ACF and other stuff

Hi, sorry if this is all very late in the
discussions....I usually get these posts through e-mail and
sometimes they are almost a day behind. That is the "other
stuff," is that a typical problem or is it just me? I
have also recently been getting posts from a week or
so ago, just showing up in my e-mail today. (I also
haven't seen one of my own posts in e-mail, although it's
obviously here because Julie responded to it....) Does that
happen to everyone?

Anyway, I just wanted to make
a comment about NAQT and ACF. Maybe this is all a
bigger deal to long established American schools....it
seems to be, anyway. Up here at UWO, we can never tell
the difference between the two formats. We can tell
the difference between academic and TRASH, obviously,
but the rest is all the same to us. It's all trivia!
Specifically, it's all obscure American trivia, heh heh....I
guess NAQT has more pop culture in it, and from our own
observations it seems to have more Canadian content in it as
well, but I seriously doubt most people in our club
would be able to tell the difference between an ACF
packet and an NAQT packet. We can't tell where it's
from, we just know it's trivia and that we like to play
trivia. 

OF course, no one from UWO has ever been
to a real ACF tournament, but still....
