This is a preliminary announcement for the
Illinois Novice Tournament, which will be held Saturday,
October 20, 2001 at the University of Illinois in
Urbana-Champaign. This will be an untimed packet-submission event
with a question difficulty level at roughly that of
NAQT Sectionals(TM). The tournament will be open to
teams composed of players from the same school in their
first or second year of college-level competition.
Information with regard to question distribution and costs
will be posted at a later date. For more information
