Re: Quizbowl Online Communications

The QB list may have some value in directing
people to the Yahoo!Clubs quizbowl site, perhaps by way
of auto-reply.

Personally, I prefer the
bulletin board features in eGroups (egroups.yahoo.com)
over that in Yahoo!Clubs. They're a bit more
sophisticated, allowing for text searching and different modes
of presentation. I remember that there were some QB
groups out there on eGroups, but don't know if they ever
took off or not.

It's ironic that Yahoo now
has two different websites for groups/clubs with
different feature sets. Hopefully they can merge the best
features of both. No use in pressuring Yahoo to do this,
since both are free services.

Anyway, speaking
of online communications, does anyone out there see
a need for some kind of
quizbowl FAQ? It was
something that was done quite a few years ago, but is
mostly dead now, save for a few copies floating out
there on the web.
