who's not only old enough to have watched the first ep
of "The Brady Bunch" when it first aired, but
immediately loathed the show so much that I never, ever
watched anything to do with it again, I hate to admit
that my curiosity has gotten the better of me. One
presumes that Carol Brady (she was the mom, was she not?)
was married twice, or else the show would have been
missing half of the cloying little primate larvae among
whom hilarious complications would so interminably
ensue. Given that retention of maiden names after
marriage was not a common element of 1970s sitcom plots,
was "Martin" her true maiden name or her first
married name?
