Should have mentioned a couple of other things
including the one that Shawn pointed out.
1. If a
state tournament has multiple classes or divisions,
each class/division winner qualifies.
2. At at
NAQT state tournament, if one of the qualifying teams
has previously qualified, another team will "move up"
and qualify, provided that the team has at least a
.500 record in the competition.
