UMR is proud to announce Rollapalooza - Live Aid
2001, to be held at UMR on
October 20, 2001. All
questions are to be written by tournament staff (aka
Ben
and the rest of the UMRites). Any school wishing to
host a mirror site
of the event (and U.
Tennessee-Chattanooga has already told me that they
will be hosting
one) may do so for a $200 flat fee. Or, if they're
willing
to write at least two balanced rounds of mostly
usable questions (i.e., to
take some of the strain
off of Ben's life), the fee is $150.

Please
contact either Ben or Nathan if you're interested in
hosting a mirror
site. A fuller announcement about the
tournament (with entry fees,
directions, and specifics)
will be forthcoming closer to the date. 

As is
now traditional, the companion event to Rollapalooza,
FOGHAT will be
held on October 21, 2001, also at UMR.
These trash questions will be
written by the FOGHAT
tournament director, Jeremy White, with help from Ben
Lea
(who obviously, will not be playing in it this
year...). An
announcement of those specifics will come
from Jeremy at some point in
the
future.
