Moon Pie(TM) Classic 2001: results pt. 2

As luck would have it, we had 11 teams in
Division I and 12 in Division II, a field size that made
possible a full round robin in each
division. After the
round robin, results were:

By the rules announced in
advance, playoffs would only take place if teams were tied
with the same record for a trophy position. Thus there
was no Division I playoff, and Kentucky completed an
impressive sweep of the 3 (non-junior-bird) spring
tournaments at UTC this year. In Division II South Florida
entered the playoffs with a one-game advantage over
Florida C.C. Jacksonville. FCCJ won the playoff round,
forcing a shootout, in which South Florida prevailed. (I
know those score sheets are around here somewhere, but
if someone from USF or FCCJ wishes to post the
scores on those matches...)

And rather than give
Yahoo! the satisfaction of once again telling me how
long-winded I am, I'll send individual stats in the next
message.
