I
don't see why Levinson should be the ultimate arbiter
of what's offensive and what isn't. Here's another
idea: Don't delete isolated posts, but if someone
repeatedly writes off-topic, slanderous, or otherwise
obnoxious posts (like the meowers of yore), the club
members can vote to have him expelled. That's the
advantage of a club over USENET; you can delete people you
don't like.
