Auditioning for WWTBAM in Savannah, approximately
two weeks ago, I chose not to note my qb background,
and I have yet to receive the postcard that I'm in
the pool. :( I think I had a fairly solid interview,
though I didn't rap or have an incredibly interesting
anecdote, so I don't know whether qb would have put me over
the top or not. My thinking was definitely influenced
by Kevin and Steve having recently been on the show.
Another qber also interviewed, and he noted his
experience, so I'll be interested to see if he gets on. We
were the two youngest people there (at 24, by at least
3 or 4 years over the next youngest), but, alas,
are both white males. And at least one of us wears
glasses.
Personally, I think we, as a community, should petition them
to go back to timing all stages of the phone
qualification...
