The Peggy Harrod and company have finally
released the opening round draw for Panasonic. The first
round pairings are as follows:

Round 1
1)
Kentucky, Massachusetts, DC, Washington
2) West
Virginia, Idaho, Connecticut, New York
3) Minnesota, New
Jersey, Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio
4) Georgia,
Mississippi, Wisconsin, Alabama
5) Nebraska, New Hampshire,
Texas, California

Round 2
1) Wyoming, Maine,
South Carolina, Missouri
2) Colorado, Arkansas,
Indiana, Florida
3) Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa,
Alaska
4) Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, Montana
5)
Maryland, Louisiana, Tennessee, Guam, Vermont (the second
year in a row my team has drawn MD in the first
round,... YUCK!)

I don't have the contacts list yet
so I can't say who all the teams are yet. However
DC, MN, OK, GA, NH, SC, MO, AR, IN, FL, IL and MD
traditionally send all-star teams.

In addition, known
state tournament champion qualifiers are: Beavercreek
(OH), Grissom (AL), Cistercian Prep (TX), Grand
Junction (CO), Moravian Academy (PA), Vandebilt Catholic
(LA), Burlington (VT).
