You know, I wouldn't mind if my
brain were capable of listening in on 28 rooms
simultaneously and keeping real-time stats for 60 teams and
about 250 players in my head throughout the entire
tournament. But I don't.
As I've shown before, I'm
willing to take the blame for things that are entirely my
fault (e.g., the packet gaffe). In this case, though,
it *wasn't* my fault: for various reasons, the
person who said he was going to do them had problems
therewith, and never bothered to mention said problems to
me; it took me about two months just to get the
scoresheets from him. But once I actually *had* the damn
scoresheets (about 500 of them!), I had the stats posted in
under 48 hours.
If *you* want the stats job for
Penn Bowl 11, anonymous coward, let me know; Lord
knows I could certainly do without *that* headache next
year.
