The purpose of the ACF Fall Tournament is to provide
a competitive environment for players new to the
circuit. The questions, while still academic in nature and
keeping with the guidelines of the format, will shoot for
a difficulty-level accomodating to quiz bowl
neophytes (as well as more experienced players). It is
ACF's hope that teams DO send their freshmen/sophomore
teams to the Fall Tournament in addition to their older
teams.
Kelly, Zeke, and I will be working very hard this year
to make sure the tournaments brought to you by ACF
will be of high quality and of appropriate difficulty.
That having been said, I hope you all attend one of
the ACF Fall Tournament sites this November. Kelly
McKenzie's editing prowess is not something to be missed
(nor are his godlike abilities with the
trombone).
