We have an old Judge (~13 years old), and it is
still running great, with only a few tweaks over the
years. We had to solder back on a couple parts this
year.
We also just procured a new Judge, and got the
10-buzzer version so we could add a couple more players
during practices. The cords are longer now, I noted,
thus no "crash, tumble, smash" effect.
IMO,
Zeecraft buzzers have too many points of failure. We got
hosed by several of these at last year's Penn Bowl.
Meanwhile, as mentioned previously, Judges are nigh unto
indestructible.
