CALL FOR ACF REGIONALS HOSTS

Hello all, this is an official announcement
designed to find out which schools would be willing and
able to host ACF Regionals on the weekend of Feb 23,
2002.

Optimally, host sites should allow for a wide geographic
distribution and I do have certain traditional qb regions in
mind, but I'll refrain from pinpointing these just yet.
If there is an egregious absence I'll get more
specific.

On this note I encourage programs in areas where ACF
Regionals has not taken place in the past to contact me. Be
aware, however, that in making selections *between*
schools availability of staff and experience running
tournaments will be factored heavily into my
decision.

As with the Fall tournaments the fees for the
individual sites should reflect the "going rates" for
tourneys in the area. Further negotiations between hosts
and the editor(s) will occur once the sites have been
established...

As usual ACF will take care of the questions and
provide each site with as many quality rounds as the
submissions permit. This way each host can direct their
energies to managing, what should be,
an enjoyable day
or two playing on academic questions.

If you
feel like this is something that your
school/organization wants to be a part of please email me at
<eberdich_at_...>. I would like to finalize the hosts by
October.

Thanks for your attention,

Ezequiel
Berdichevsky
Head Editor, ACF Regionals 2002

I WILL POST THE
SLIGHTLY ALTERED AND DETAILED DISTRIBUTION FOR THE
TOURNAMENT SOMETIME THIS WEEK, SO LOOK FOR IT.
