Graveside services for James Granville Beshear, infant son
of Daniel and Jami Beshear of Norman, will be held
at 2 p.m. Friday at the Norman IOOF Cemetery under
the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. 
James
was born and died Tuesday, Sept. 4, in Norman.


For those of you knew him, Dan was one of the better
-- and certainly most controversial -- quiz bowlers
around. He could always be counted on to go above and
beyond what he needed to do for the Oklahoma Academic
Team, and even when we had disagreements with him on
whatever subject, he was always there to help out, tell a
joke, or run a tourney. Along with Eric Bell, Dan was
one of the founders of the team, and it is in no
small part due to his hard work that the team survives
and prospers to this day. 

I and my team
members would like to take this moment to say how sorry
we are, Dan, and if there is anything we can do to
help, we will. No one should ever have to go through
this sort of pain, and however we can help ease it,
just let us know.
