One more moment -

Just to address what a few have said regarding
some of the problem being of our own creation: I will
not disagree to the point about us conducting
policies that have induced hatred on the part of other
countries. Certainly alot of what we do leaves alot to
desire.

What I was speaking to more so was the predominance of
leftist rhetoric on the Berkeley campus though not
explicitly stating that the right says some pretty
horrendous things also. I cannot understand how many could
be pleased to associated with people like Falwell
who would make such comments as Mr. Weiner cited. I
believe however - and alot can be said about this - pages
and pages and pages - that leftist thought in any
form has become "acceptable" and "correct" in the
Berkeley area and the stigma is such that any deviation
from such though is taken to be non-progressive and
therefore racist, backward, sexist and so on.

Though
probably not necessary to have to repost in order to
defend my comments, I did want to clarify an issue of
mine regarding the Berkeley left that has been
building over the past 3 years.

Thanks for your
attention,

Ross
