I was *supposed* to leave work in five minutes,
hop on a train to BWI Airport, and fly down to TN to
see my fiance. However, thanks to Osama bin Laden, I
now have to arrive two hours ahead of departure time.
With my schedule, this is flat-out impossible. I also
can't just ask to leave early; I just started this job,
and it would hardly make a good impression to start
immediately asking to leave early on some Fridays. So thanks
to Osama bin Laden, I can't see my fiance until
October at the earliest, and possibly Thanksgiving. Talk
about hitting close to home . . .
