Dear Friends,
It's been a while since I've
posted here on the quiz-bowl web pages, as I've entered
semi-retirement. It's good to see that things are still
active.
I usually don't send out things like this, but I
feel that the gravity of recent events warrant deeper
thought about where we are and where we want to go.
I've done a great deal of thinking and reading about
our current situation, and this is the most
reasonable, most thoughtful expression I have read to date.
The author is asking for signatures from academic
professors. I'm asking if you can forward this message on to
other professors, as well as students at other schools.
