If you are trying to get a
greater sense of how good a player is, you really can't
count the pickoff as much as a clean
tossup.
First of all, it means you got beat in. Secondly, often
teammates lay off and leave the pickoff to one player or
another.
Certainly, they are worth the 10 in a game. But they should
count less in a valuation metric.
