A couple of reminders.... (1) The first packet deadline for Penn Bowl is coming up in eight days (29 October 2001). (2) The priority registration period ends in ten days (31 October 2001). At the moment, there are 63 teams from 30 schools registered for Penn Bowl: 7 schools with one team, 14 schools with 2 teams, 7 schools with three teams, and 2 schools with 4 teams (the 63rd team will be listed tonight). The current list is posted at: <a href=http://www.pennbowl.org/pennbowl11 target=new>http://www.pennbowl.org/pennbowl11</a> If your school is not listed there, then I have not received a registration from you. Again, please note that until October 31, schools are guaranteed two teams each (until the field is full). After that date, no priority is guaranteed. On a related note, if you find that you are registered for more teams than you are capable of fielding, please e-mail us ASAP, so that another team can have a shot at competing. [I will turn away teams if I absolutely must, but to have people eager to play sit at home and have empty spaces in the schedule is nearly unforgivable, IMHO.] (3) Hotel discounts have been arranged.
