Yes and no. It states that they should only be used
VERY RARELY and when there is an obvious and
legitimate connection between the trash clue and the
academic material. Just having the same name doesn't cut
it. Turtles would, because they were actually named
for the artists in question.
Of course,
hearing giveaways like that more than once a round or so
(some would say zero times a round, and that's an
acceptable opinion) can get rather annoying.
