ACF Fall

I'll make this brief because it's
late.

While I can understand that a team like DePauw would be
upset at losing all their games and I empathize with
them, overall I thought the tournament quality was
pretty damn good. Our team (Berkeley C) had a pretty
dismal day, but hey, these things happen. I still
managed to enjoy myself quite a bit. I thought the
questions were eminently accessible and well-written for
the most part, although some information repeats did
occur.

I'm sorry that some teams had a bad experience. I
think the best thing to do is get better, come back,
and kick some ass. I'm in my second year of
collegiate quiz bowl, and I really like the ACF format, and
I would encourage new players to play in ACF or
ACF-style tournaments. If this tournament was any
indication of things to come, I believe ACF will become much
more accessible to newcomers over the next couple of
years.

Glory awarded for most negs at ACF Fall - sorry Kevin)
