Re: ACF Issues

As TD of the ACF Tournament at USF, I wanted to
say a couple things:

 1) thefamousohmslaw was
only speaking for himself and not USF (love ya,
Steve!) ...in fact, I think Steve should have played
Saturday, and his whole outlook on ACF might have
changed.

 2) The questions were very well-written, and fair
to novice and advanced players alike, and I said so
both at the beginning and end of the tourney.

3) The New College team got better as it went on
through the tournament. I spoke to them during their bye
(Round 12, I think), and they seemed to be having a
great time. They have already signed up for the Novice
tourney on Nov. 17, where I imagine they'll do quite
well.

 4) As was stated, there were only 3-4 Div. II
teams in attendance, and it would have been difficult
to structure things any differently.

 5) One
final question: If there were 25 or so teams that
submitted packets, and 15 final edited packets, what became
of the unused questions? Were they integrated into
the other packets or simply unused?
