True - but if the accused is exonerated then
that's a moot point. In either case if someone does get
blame thrust upon them then it's likely that enmity
towards that person and his or her club will last for
some degree of perpetuity and thus stigmatize the
club. 

This may be harsh, but whereas the
accusing party, by being anonymous, can save face and his
or her club's face, the events supposedly
perpetrated by the accused have already occurred and if
guilty then it's too late.

It could be argued
that a non-community member observer could have come
up with the same argument and thus would have no
club associated with him or her but that is not the
case.

As to the accuser being so specific, you're right
it's too late. What can we do now?
