Re: So! Deep Bench!

assumption, I got the feeling that this was because a protest
mechanism for singles and doubles matches hadn't been
determined (or if there was one, the moderator hadn't been
informed).

Just for the record, on first singles,
there was one protest resolved pretty much on the spot
over the African Union question, and some others that
the moderator noted without any problems. To me, a
larger issue than protests was the number that seemed to
be required.

That aside, I agree with Lindsay
almost to a line. My take on the moderator issue is that
some of them seemed to be from outside the team, and
courtesy usually dictates that they moderate, but I agree
it is an issue to be addressed for next
year.

Most importantly, people seemed to have fun - everyone
on my team certainly did, anyway - and the UW team
library increased thanks to the book prizes noted
previously. Thanks to everyone involved.
