Re: Usable authors

Students in the "advanced placement" English
class at my high school read Orson Scott Card's
"Ender's Game" the year I boycotted the class. (Because
the teacher was a lunatic, not because of Card.) I
actually like Ender's Game, but I wouldn't put it in a lit
distribution.

And for that matter, I've gotten every question on
Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" that I've heard so far. This
somehow doesn't lead me to wish it into lit
distributions. Or, for that matter, into music distributions, or
even into trash music distributions particularly.
Or... actually, I can't think of a single instance in
which hearing of Black Sabbath or their "Iron Man" has
enriched my life. Except in terms of scoring points.

This specious reasoning brought to you by Erik
Nielsen's boredom.
