trash tourney _at_ DePauw, March 2nd 2002

The trash tournament will be on March 2nd, 2002.
The fee will be $100, but discounts will be given for
buzzer systems (-$5), moderators (-$10), and the
deadlines are: December 25 for a (-$20) deduction, January
31 for a (-$10) deduction and a (+$2)/day fee after
February 14th. Also, if anyone has to drive more then 300
miles, contact me in advance for a $25 easement on the
fee. If any of you all are interested, e-mail me at
jmcquiston_at_..., call me at (765) 658-5513, or message me the
following ways: AIM:EnderJam, Yahoo Mess:Drakulon222, or
ICQ:#4083257. The tournament will be decided by the number of
teams interested, but should follow the round-robin
format with a tournament double-elimination at the end.
We will take any undergrad group who wishes to play
and, given enough teams, will give awards for top
undergrad players and teams. Lets try to make this
tournament one that you all will remember! Have fun! This
tournament has been okayed by the DePauw team, if any of you
were wondering, and I am having some very talented
helpers for this tournament and want it to go off without
a hitch.

Choice of above
Current trash events not listed in
the above sections.

Notice: A suggestion of
(1/1) music should focus on one of the following
genres: Contemporary Christian, Goth, or
Punk.

Sports TU's shall each deal with different sports, while
Sports Bonii may focus all 30 points on one or more
sports.

The "choice of above" topics shall contain no less
then (1/1) focusing on the decade simply known as the
1980's

Each of the divisions have specifics listed for ease.
However, questions along that line which properly fit in
with the topic will also be accepted.

30-20-10
Bonii shall be limited to 2 per packet, and biography
TU's/bonii shall not exceed 20%.

A additional set of
(3 TUs) shall be enclosed with each packet, in case
of a tie-breaker. One question will be used as the
tiebreaker, with the remaining two being used in place of
repetitive questions. The questions should each deal with a
different topic located in the above section, in order to
not give unfair advantages.

We are looking at
about a 250 avg ppg for a individual packet. If
anything, err on the side of difficulty.
