Penn Bowl _10_: a word on difficulty

A couple of weeks ago, someone asked me to post
the statistics I had on the difficulty of packets
submitted to Penn Bowl 10.

I've finally had the
chance to open up the file that I kept those numbers in.
Basically, these numbers represent an approximation of the
number of points I would be able to score per 20 TUs on
a given packet, playing alone against a null
team.

In general, they were about 100 points higher than
the actual numbers obtained.

Mean per 20 TUs,
all packets: 413
Median: 417
Standard
deviation: 75

(* = >1 SD away from mean; ** =
>2 SD above mean)
