Hey, all, I was just graciously told that both
Kentucky and Carleton are having tournaments March 3rd. I
really, as a relative newcomer to the scene, do not want
to cause any problems with these tournaments. This
is also not to say that I am doing this just for
that reason, but I do want my tournament to become a
success.
So, if it will work with others, I am proposing a
change of time for the Duck Bowl. Instead of March 2nd,
I am looking at the following Saturday, the 9th. If
this sounds like an acceptable idea, please do e-mail
me. This definitely goes to those teams that could
not go to Duck Bowl before, due to scheduling
conflicts.
With the change of date, the due date of
the packets would also change by one week, moving the
(-$10) bonus for an early packet to February 7th, and
the last due date to February 22nd. After the 22nd,
however, the (+$2) fee will still apply.
And guys,
I'm counting on interested parties to get into
contact with me. Please tell me if this date change would
be beneficial to your team. Also remember that
Masters and Undergrad teams are both invited to the
tournament.
