There is one person I did forget to thank: Chris
Sewell of Texas A&M, who wrote the stats program, SQBS,
that we used at Penn Bowl 11.
While it took us
a few rounds to get the statkeeping up-and-running,
we were running far closer to real-time stats than
at Penn Bowl 9 or 10. And, given the last few years,
to have both team _and_ individual stats so soon
after finishing the prelims was nothing short of
miraculous.
In other words: while it's not perfect (and no
statkeeping program out there is), it's extremely good, and
has almost no learning curve. I highly recommend
it.
