Tartan Invitational High School tourney

The Carnegie Mellon University College Bowl club
is pleased to announce the return of its annual high
school tournament, the Tartan Invitational. This
academic quiz-style tournament will take place at the
Carnegie Mellon campus on Saturday, March 2,
2002.

Tournament director for this year's Tartan Invitational will
be Eric Steinhauser, formerly of the University of
Pittsburgh, and creator of both "Battle of the 'Burgh" and
"Supernatural Ice Bowl."

Questions will be supplied by
National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT), and will be
part of NAQT's "Nationwide Tournament Day." The winner
of the event will automatically qualify for NAQT's
High School Championship in June at the University of
Texas.
