NAQT ICT General Info (Part II)

For those driving to campus, I would recommend
parking in the Bell Tower parking lot as it is the
closest big lot to the likely competition buildings,
though other nearby ones also could work. After 5 p.m.
on Friday, every campus parking lot is open to all,
but before then, you might have some trouble.
Directions to the Bell Tower lot are as follows:
>From the
East (Raleigh)
Take I-40 West to exit 273B (NC-54
W)
Turn Right off the exit onto NC-54/Raleigh
Road
Stay straight on NC-54/Raleigh Road for about
4-5 miles...you will pass signs for the Friday Center
on
your left, a Harris Teeter on your left, and then go
under an overpass...continue straight on NC-54/Road.

At the top of the hill there will be a stop-light
and you will enter the campus.
NC-54/Raleigh Road
becomes South Road.
Go straight through the light,
and straight through the next stop light (Raleigh
Street)
You will pass the bell tower on your left.

Just past the bell tower, there will be a stop-light.
Turn Left at the light into the Bell Tower parking
lot.

There are alternate routes (i.e.,
Exit 270), which the following map
highlights:

I can't really think of anything else to post for
the time being.

If anyone has any questions,
I'd recommend posting them to this site, as that way
everyone can see the answers. If you prefer to email, you
can contact me at the address below. Tom Chuck and
Andy Goss are helping the UNC academic team with
running the tournament, but there are many site-specific
queries that it'd be better if someone from UNC handles
since we know the campus better. My co-tournament
director is Hannah Johnson (unchannahkate_at_...), so
send queries to her too.

Hope to see everyone
in April.
