I apologize humbly. I must have been confusing
the tritone question with another. I was in high
dudgeon when I wrote my last post. As phrased, this is
about a good as music theory question as I've seen.
Sadly, not many are that good. I can understand a desire
to get away from composer-based classical questions.
But it's hard to write a good music theory question;
I've heard many more misses than hits in this
category. And there's so much more to be
asked...instruments, forms, styles, performers, conductors, viola
jokes... To have one of the few arts tossups in several
rounds end "FTP, what note is a minor third above C"
tries my patience.
