Re: Titles/Too Much Information(?)

I too would like to get a clarification on this.
I thought that the general rule (in NAQT, ACF, and
TRASH) was that leading articles can be dropped, but
cannot be added or changed. But looking at the NAQT
rules, it seems adding an article, unless if it's like
Invisible Man, doesn't make an answer wrong. But the
example it gives is one where I think adding a 'the'
makes sense, since you can refer to newspapers with
'the' in front. However, you can't do that with
something like Lifeboat. In a sentence, you'd have to say
"I saw Lifeboat" or "I saw the movie Lifeboat", but
you can't say "I saw The Lifeboat". Whereas it's
perfectly natural to say "I read the San Francisco
Chronicle today." As a moderator, I might take "the movie
Lifeboat" as an answer, but never "The Lifeboat". But
according to the NAQT rules as I read them, it seems I
should.
