That's what I get for posting results in the middle of the night after four nights out of town. I copied the results from the earlier version of the spreadsheet, before the critical error regarding the Division II results was discovered. Amazingly enough, when the dust clears it turns out we had the playoff seedings and results right after all, by dumb luck. Here are the *correct* results for Division II, with the wins and losses of the four playoff teams confirmed by rechecking the individual scoresheets: Team W-L Pts Opp Pts. Diff./Gm. Georgia Tech 11-2 2410 1440 74.62 (lost to Tennessee rds. 1 & 11) Tennessee 9-3 2400 1330 89.17 (lost to Ky B rd. 3, DePauw B rd. 6, Morehouse rd. 8) Rhodes A 9-4 2120 1575 41.92 (lost to TN rds. 2 & 13, GT rds. 7 & 14) Emory B 7-5 1985 1450 44.58 (lost to Rhodes A rds. 1 & 11, TN rd. 4, Morehouse rd. 7, GT rd. 9) DePauw B 7-6 2075 1850 17.31 Morehouse 5-8 1370 1795 -32.69 Kentucky B 5-8 1425 1870 -34.23 Berry B 2-10 810 2000 -99.17 Rhodes B 1-10 810 2095 -116.82 NAQT does allow for, and in fact encourages, 3-game playoffs with a one-game advantage for the team with the better record. So the playoff seedings and one-game advantages turned out to be correct after all: #1 Ga. Tech vs. #4 Emory B; 1-game advantage by record to GT; Emory B wins twice to advance (180-65, 170-95) #2 Tennessee vs. #3 Rhodes A; 1-game advantage by record to TN; Rhodes A wins 175-145, forcing a 3rd match which TN wins 270-115. Finals: Tenn. vs. Emory B; TN with 1-game advantage by record; TN wins 280-105. By virtue of better record, Georgia Tech takes 3rd. There. I feel *much* better now.
