I'll leave it to others (particularly CBI) to
post the results in more detail, but, the final finish
in CBI RCT, Region 8, were:
1. The University
of Chicago
2. Northwestern University
3.
Beloit College
4. The University of Illinois -
Chicago
These were the four top finishers after the round robin
of all 11 teams. This quartet was seeded into a
double-elimination playoff, with Chicago winning an exciting final
over Northwestern by a score of about 315-225. Loyola
University and Illinois Institute of Technology also
finished high in the round robin.
Congratulations
to all the top finishers, good luck to Chicago at
the NCT and to Northwestern in attempting to get
picked for the NCT, and thanks to the University of
Wisconsin - Whitewater for doing an excellent job as host.
As usual, Paul Terzino and Steve Guinta did a great
job organizing, and it was a fun tournament all
around.
