was before Adam and I started the writing of said
questions. :P

Matt seems to have a
failure to understand that it's just a different world
and a different attitude outside of the Old Firm.
Sure, some areas care about quizbowl, like the southern
Shenandoah Valley and far southwestern Virginia, but simply
don't have the talent pool the Old Firm can draw from
unless an unusually good player pops up out of
somewhere.
Some schools, districts and regions care
so little about quizbowl that they can't even be
arsed to hold a tournament to determine their district
and regional champions. They have written tests. Yes,
you got it. Written tests.
That's quizbowl in
the real world folks.
