Yep, and right mess they're making of it!

Basically, they've only actually filmed the 6 shows so far listed - they're
struggling to find the remaining teams, and have had to resort to including
some runners-up to make up the numbers.

However, the most hilarious thing is the format.

UC, as some might know, is single elimination, with the four
highest-scoring losers in the first round (of 28 teams) getting a second
chance in play-offs against each other. To get on the show, of course, it's
all auditions, not regionals or anything enlightened. So far, so bad.

So the champion of champions is as bad? No, worse. Each team plays one
match. Yup, one. At the end of the series, the four winning teams who
scored the most points go into the semi-finals.

Never again will you complain that a tournament was "only double
elimination" :)

And don't even get me started on the question quality...
