IRC nickname protection

To register your nickname so nobody else can use it:
1. Enter the command:
/msg nickserv register passwordofyourchoicegoeshere
2. The next time you connect to IRC, if your IP address has changed, 
you'll get a message prompting you to log in. To do so, enter the 
command:
/msg nickserv identify thatsamepasswordyoupickedgoeshere
