Word has just been received that the IMF will be holding meetings in
Washington on April 20-21.
Steps are underway to change the location of the tournament to the
University of Maryland at College Park. Everything else
(administration, packet submission, contacts) will remain the same.
We recommend you change your hotel reservations to College Park or
eastern Washington, DC.
Those of you with flights coming into BWI won't have to change
anything. Those of you flying into DCA should take Metro to College
Park on the Green Line; it's about a half-mile from the College Park
metro to the campus, so consider bringing cab money. Those of you
flying into DIA will need to take the metrobus or Washington Flyer
shuttle (note: the Flyer is expensive) to the East Falls Church Metro
stop, then take Metro to College Park.
Any questions you may have, let me know. I'm sorry we didn't know
about this sooner, but GW didn't tell us until today.
