intramural tournament

Hi from the Villanova Academic Competition Club,

We're interested in having an intramural tournament at Villanova and 
would like input from other clubs about their tournament process.  
How do you get the students interested in the tournament, and what 
types of prizes do you offer?  Do you fundraise to get money, or use 
other methods?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
