He head-edited and wrote a plurality of the 2008 and 2009 New Trier Varsity tournaments, which he has co-directed (with David Reinstein) since 2009. He also helps edit the New Trier Scobol Solo and the Masonic set, for each of which he developed custom software.

Jonah is a member of NAQT, for which his work includes subject-editing mathematics (and at various times computer science, physics, visual art, and linguistics); software development; and logistical work, including directing MSNCT in 2012 and 2013.
