Fordland High School is a public school in Fordland, Missouri, about 20 miles east of Springfield. The school typically attends local MSHSAA-style events but also frequently attends tournaments at Missouri S&T, including the first two NAQT Missouri Qualifiers. Fordland placed 3rd at MSHSAA State in 2005 and 2011.
Fordland competes in Class 2 of MSHSAA competition and has been a strong contender in recent years, but frequently encounters perennial Class 2 powerhouse Richland, so they have never reached the championship match at State. Fordland and Richland were in the same district or sectional from 2007-2010, a period including a couple of seasons during which Fordland was considered the second best team in Class 2.
