Basil Sousounis is a Quiz Bowl player from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. He joined the A-B Quiz Bowl team halfway through the 2017-2018 season, putting up modest numbers. He became captain of the A-B team during the 2018-2019 season, and is now a fairly strong player. He led his team to qualify for HSNCT 2019 and PACE NSC 2019 at CMAT V, and also led the team's run on High School Quiz Show's Season X, in which the A-B team made it to the finals and lost to Boston Latin School. He recently placed 5th at IPNCT 2019, held in Rosemont, Illinois.
