-After playing rather poorly at the 2011 HSNCT, he went on a minor study binge that resulted in several top five individual finishes in tournaments. Did minimal quizbowl studying the following summer due to actually learning "useful" things like Attic Greek and Graph Theory. He was the high scorer at the 2012 Indiana State Quizbowl championships and the high scorer and captain of the 0-14 2012 Indiana NASAT team.
