Possibly the oldest invitational tournament for which more information than the name of the winner exists. This tournament was held in March of 1975.
Participants: Georgia Tech A, Georgia Tech B, Berry A, Berry B Valdosta State, Georgia Southern, Shorter, Georgia Southwestern, Americus, Brenau, Columbus College, Austin-Peay, Clarksville, Piedmont-Demorest
Georgia Tech A defeated Berry A in what turned out to be the tournament-deciding match; both teams won all of their other games.
Scott Hooker, Beth Bruce, Robin Roberson, and Ralph Van Pelt played for Berry A. Paulette Douthitt, Harriet Haygood, Debbie Mann, David Revan, and Debbie Poss played on Berry B.
