It is highly unusual to speak of a team's season based on calendar years rather than competition years. One would ordinarily speak of the 2017–2018 season and the 2018–2019 season, for instance. Also, as I mentioned here, in general the QBWiki should avoid information that is guaranteed to become out of date soon ("will attend ACF Regionals"); similarly, information that is too vague to be useful ("some freshmen will [presumably] join the team") doesn't seem worth including.
