Joseph (2004-present) played four years of somewhat good quizbowl at Douglas Freeman high school, captaining that team from sophomore to senior years. In his senior season, he led the team to a 10th-place finish at 2022 HSNCT. He now plays on the University of Virginia's team. At 2023 ICT, he was the second-leading scorer on that team, which placed fifth overal. At both institutions, he has been a known accomplice of Giovanni Mazzeo.
