The Holzauzer method refers to the buzzing technique employed by Jeopardy! legend James Holzhauer, in which he crosses his arms and grabs the wrist he is buzzing with, thereby cutting the buzzer speed in half. The term was popularized by Russ McGlaughn in October 2023.
